Work Versus Relaxation

by

I still have yet to find a balance between work and relaxation. For me, work is what I would do on my off time … if it was not my work. I love to go dancing, but when I am doing a show, I want to relax. I love to do karaoke, but once again, when I am doing a show, I am not in the mood to sing on my off time. So what do I do to relax? I work. I know this sounds insane, but I am highly passionate about what I do, but when I need to relax, I just don’t want to do anything physical. So … I end up in front of the computer working on my website, demo reels, self-promotion, new songs/monologues, and anything else I can think of … I love it. Yes, there is a part of me that has forgotten how to have fun on my time off, but I believe that when I meet the right man, he will help bring that back out of me. That’s taking me off the subject. The point is that I love what I do and moving forward in my career is very comforting to me. I want to move forward in my life with this career that I love. I breathe this career. It is hard to stop a fire that burns so deep.
