Junk Food

by

Okay, so we all need to watch our weight. Either we have to stay thin and be one of those showgirl types in “Will Rogers Follies” or we have stay overweight in order to be the best friend in “Mama Mia.” We can’t go too over or too under depending on the look that fits us best.
So, I stick to a very healthy way of eating. I have protein, veggies, grain, and fruit daily. I don’t eat any of the crap. I stick to what keeps me healthy and looking young.
Well, I have been eating healthy (absolutely no junk food) for three years. Let me say that again - THREE YEARS! I decided it was time for me to let myself eat the many things I have missed over the years last Sunday. It was insane and fun. I was working at the Corn Maze (one of those random survivor jobs) most of the day and I brought a bunch of junk in my backpack. It was fun to share the experience with my co-workers. At the end of the day, I gave away most of my stuff because I knew that I was not interested in having it anymore.
I had lots of little bits of everything because there was so much that I wanted to have again. THREE YEARS, dude, can you blame me? It was interesting to discover some of the foods I did not like so much anymore. Perfect example: Cheez-its. I used to be a huge fan of this food, but now, not so much. Funnel Cake, as much of a fun food it is to get once in awhile (they were selling it on the farm), I just don’t think it’s so great anymore.

Naturally, by the end of the day, I was completely full and was happy to stop eating.
Since my junk food day, I have not completely strayed away from junk food. I keep discovering there are more things that I have forgotten to eat. It is quite insane!
My weight is only staying down because I work out like an animal. I know I can’t continue doing the junk food thing. In all honesty, there is just so much out there and I totally crave it.

I do not like that girl. I could only watch about a minute and a half and then I had to turn it off. I hope I didn’t miss anything life altering!
