January in New York
In case you didn’t know, New York is a super-slow time for people living in New York. I don’t want to go back to the city in January, but my Uncle’s wedding is on January 18th in The Big A. So, I will soon be stuck in New York and doing any kind of work that is possible to get a regular income. Oy vey. I am not looking forward to it. If anything, I would like to be performing in a Broadway show in New York. The catering - I am so over it. I am sick of serving crab cakes to skinny bitches and unattractive men who give me their business cards with the hopes of getting a date. I am over those lazy people who cater with me and don’t do the work to earn the money. I end up covering for those people to ensure that I get home sooner rather than later. I don’t want to be there, but I want the money. And then my babysitting job … oh, man, that is a whole other ball game. That freaking job is chill and pretty easy, but I have sat for sick kids and ended up sick. On top of all of this, it is freakin cold outside. Yeah, I am really not interested in being in New York in January. No one else wants to be in New York and their negative energy is easy to latcho onto. Yeah, I am not looking forward to being back there at the moment.
