A Source of Inspiration

by

Ever had a tv show that totally inspired you to live your life? You were able to either relate or celebrate each character in the show. It became a feeling as though you were growing with these people. The tv show would become a popular topic of conversation and you found yourself dying to identify with one of the characters completely. That is how I feel about “Sex and The City.” I absolutely love this show and it has taught me to pay attention to many things in my career/life.
First of all, I don’t have much of a love life right now because I am so focused on my career which has me traveling from one place to another all the time. Second, I find myself realizing what it means to have a true friendship. That never-ending bond with another person. Very important.
The show got me to understand that each individual has his/her faults, but you have to make a point to celebrate you as you are. You have to be able to say, I like me. That’s a big deal and very important in order for you to just be happier in your life.
Last of all, it taught me that it’s okay to want the man of my dreams. Love is something I want and it is okay to want it. As long as I keep going forward in my life, the right man will come along and I will “live happily ever after.”
